Minutes

  1. Welcome

  2. Approval of minutes- Cherie Approved, Dea Second

  3. Emergency Drill

• March drill was Hazmat. This is done with the teachers only. 4. Next year’s SCC-

• It was noted that this is the last year for Sarah, Dea, and Gaetana.

  1. Dress Code-

    • There has been some concern about kids wearing hats to school and hoodies. It says in the District dress code that no hats are allowed (recess is ok). Mr Demill will talk with the teachers about this.

    • Nancy asked if the dress code should have any wording added into the dress code policy.

    • It was noted that not wearing hats/hoodies is a respect issue.

  2. Land Trust and TSSP

    • We are going to keep the goals similar to last year using pathways to progress to track the progress of the children.

    • Social/Emotional- We would like to spend the money to keep Pam and hire another 1-2 aides as well. We discussed the shortfalls in hourly pay which is making it hard to hire hourly workers. We brainstormed some ways to get someone hired.

    • The final plan needs to be signed at our next meeting.

    • It was asked where our parent volunteers are at. Mr DeMill is going to ask the teachers if

      they feel parent volunteering is up or down from previous years.

    • Using pathways to progress- look at composite score and growth of children through the

      year.
