Approximately a 20-minute presentation with Q and A after speaker. Parents only for the presentation. Whitney and Stacey will go to an extra room to watch a movie with the kids who come.
  • White Ribbon Week March 11-15. We will need volunteers to help at lunchtime with activities. Elysia will be in charge of planning.
  • Land Trust and TSSP plans-Reviewed school data on reading and math benchmarks for beginning of the year and mid-year assessments. Discussed having the 36 Club math facts available for more grades to help with math fluency. Need parent volunteers to help with the program. Some of the TSSP funding is currently going to pay for staffing for Thrive Time. The committee would like to keep that going. PBIS is also something that funds are going towards which school staff feels is something we need to continue. Draft of goals will be available at the next meeting to review and discuss.
  • Planning time for teachers while kids are doing Brain Boosters. Proposal to move Brain Booster to 45 minutes a day next to a recess so teachers get 60 minutes of time. Increase school day by 10 minutes.
