SCC Meeting Minutes
Opening:
The regular meeting of Quail Hollow Elementary School Community Council was called to order at 7:50 am April 16, 2024 the Quail Hollow Elementary School conference room by Chair Mike Sax.

Approval of Agenda
The agenda was unanimously approved as distributed.
Minutes approved from last meeting.
- TSSP and Land Trust plans submitted last week. No changes or edits requested by district to date.
- SCC Council elections coming up in August of 2024. Shad DeMill will send out a notification about the roles in the Spring. There will be four parent positions that will be open. Members that are in their second year will need to re-run if they would like to continue.
- School Safety Plan-new system for badged access on the staff room doors. New cameras have also been putting in to place. New system coming next year for staff to be able to communicate in an emergency situation.
- HERO award will be taken from nominations for teacher of the year for the next one. New nominations will be asked for on the last one. Three awards to be given each time. Two more sets of awards to be given this year.
- Plan to meet one more time on May 21st
