Quail Hollow Land Trust Plans were reviewed by School Performance. A couple of editorial changes will be completed by Mr. DeMill, then plans will be submitted to the Board of Education.

Quail Hollow SCC will hold elections early in the fall of 2022. The terms of Melinda Rosevear and Pat Passey are completed. Our Bylaws will allow the election of two to four new parent representatives to the SCC. Shad will post these vacancies in the school newsletter.

Our current Land Trust funds will be reviewed by Mr. DeMill. We are allowed to carry over 10% or less into the next school year.

We are pleased to confirm that the safety hazard from the north field exit of the playground has been resolved. A bollard post has been installed at the end of the walkway opening to Cobblestone Way to deter children from rushing into the street.

Mr. DeMIll will make sure that our website is updated with current information.

The Peace Path suggested by Mr. Lennox is being completed. It will be painted on the outside playground. Also, one or two rugs will have vinyl stickers placed on them to be used in the new Positive Behavior Intervention Supports room (former computer lab.)

A motion was made by Melinda to cancel the SCC meeting scheduled for May 12 as there are currently no agenda items for it. Seconded by Samantha Avery, Passed.  Mr. DeMill will inform the SCC by email should a meeting be necessary.

The SCC for 2022-23 will plan to sponsor both a Literacy Night and Wellness Night during the next school year. Melinda Rosevear offered to serve as a resource for any digital responsibility activities. It was noted that a few high school students could to presentations on technology safety for parents.
